Personalized sessions provide time to address individual challenges. Attendees will earn 20 PDH credits, with the option to earn an additional 4 PDHs by completing post-event assignments within 30 days.

Walter J. Sperko, P.E.
Walter J. Sperko, P.E. is the President of Sperko Engineering Services, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in metal fabrication technology, including welding, heat treating, inspection, and quality assurance. With extensive expertise in piping and pressure vessel fabrication, installation, and repair, Walter has held leadership roles at RECO North Carolina, ITT Grinnell Industrial Piping, Inc., and EBASCO Services, Inc.
Walter has held numerous influential positions, including past-Chairman of the ASME Welding, Brazing, and Fusing Standards Committee IX and roles on several key ASME and AWS committees focused on ASME Section IX training and welding code compliance training. A registered Professional Engineer in multiple states, Walter holds six US patents and is a Fellow of ASME and a Counselor of AWS. He earned his BA and BS in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
